Vilhelm Melbye

Knud Frederik Vilhelm Hannibal Melbye was a Danish marine artist. Over the course of his career, he painted seascapes, coastal and harbor scenes, sailing vessels and topographical subjects in many parts of Europe, especially in the Mediterranean region.
