Conrad Buff II

Mary Buff and Conrad Buff II were married creators of illustrated children's books. Between 1937 and 1968, they collaborated on both text and illustrations to produce 14 books; they were runner-up for the Caldecott Medal in 1943 and received three Newbery Honors They had a profound impact on children's literature in the mid-20th century.
