Marko Pernhart

Markus Pernhart was a Carinthian Slovenian / Austrian painter of romantic landscape impressions, considered to have been a pioneer in this style in Austria. According to the Slovenian Biographical Lexicon, he is considered to be the first Slovenian realistic landscape painter.
