Annelies Nelck

Annelies "Anatole" Nelck was a French painter and engraver, of Dutch ancestry. She was known for her paintings of landscapes of the South of France, and still-lifes. Nelck had served in the 1940s as Henri Matisse's assistant, and as a model for his works.
